How To Measure Your Wrist For A Leather Bracelet

How to Measure Your Wrist for a Leather Bracelet

Ordering Leather Bracelets from UrbanWrist.com is MUCH easier if you know your correct wrist size.

When you order a bracelet from UrbanWrist.com, I want the Leather Bracelet to fit properly! Below are simple instructions that describe how to measure your wrist for a Joe V. Leather Bracelet perfect fit.

Method A (Flexible Measuring Tape)
Using a flexible measuring tape*, Measure just above (towards elbow) your wrist bone, then add 3/4" to 1 " depending on how tight you would like your leather bracelet to fit.

In my case, my Wrist Size is 7 inches and although wearing a 7 3/4 inches Leather Bracelet fits, it's a pretty snug fit, so I prefer going with an 8 inch Leather Bracelet which is a more comfortable fit for me.

Below is a sample picture showing you how to measure for your wrist size with a Flexible Measuring Tape.

Method B (Strip of Paper or Thing String with Flat Ruler)
*Tip: If you do not have a flexible measuring tape handy, you can use a strip of paper or thin string to measure your wrist size. Make sure you make a mark on the strip of paper or thing string where it overlaps on your wrist. Once you have made your mark, lay the strip on a flat surface and measure it with a ruler.

Urban Wrist Note(s):

With leather bracelets the actual length is an importance, but the inner diameter when latched shut is our main concern. When latched shut, leather bracelets take up space on the inner circumference of a wrist, making the measurements a bit smaller than the length when laid flat. To achieve a perfect fit (or close to it) is for the inner diameter to match the outer circumference of your wrist. Hence, that is why we recommend to use a flexible measuring tape, strip of paper, or thin string -- which are not bulky, where the inner circumference is virtually the same as the length when laid out flat.

Please be advised that using bulky instruments/tools to measure your wrist can cause measuring problems. We strongly recommend you measure your wrist peforming either of the methods provided above before purchasing a Joe V. Leather Bracelet.

Sincerely,

Joe V.
