As a young boy being the eldest male of nine siblings Joe V. had the duty of providing for his family. Taking on several work trades to make a living, one that intrigued him the most was the passion for leather.

Throughout his teen years Joe and his best friend would hammer away at slabs of leather creating one of a kind handmade leather pieces. From hand bags, to clothing, Joe V. would excel at leather accessories (e.g. leather cuffs, belts, and watch bands).

At the age 22, Joe V. migrated to the States and shifted his passion from leather to jewelry.

Twenty something years later, Joe V. would combined his knowledge for leather & jewelry and launch Urban Wrist.

With no big expectations, Joe V. created Urban Wrist as a mere hobby, method of staying busy while earning additional income. With time, hobby turned passion, which ultimately became a way of LIFE.

Now, with the help of his son (Joe V. Jr.) Urban Wrist has been showcasing handmade leather accessories mixing both vintage and modern techniques to create distinct leather pieces for all.
